watching this - thanks for the link. It's pretty pathetic. Wilson apologized to the President, fine. Why can't he offer an apology to the rest of the people in the House, people who he offended, the body's rules he broke? Censure him, now. He sets a bad example, and he was wrong. The mewling from the Republicans is pathetic. the crap being droned on about is ridiculous.
This is all getting ridiculous, even what you and I are talking about now, with that faux-outrage.
Your affectation of outrage is wearing thin, but that is fine, it is what you have.
To my mind, he may have apologzied to the whole of the House, if the whole of the House had not made such a pig's breakfast with all their phony rage.
Now, you have that one clown, Jonhson, trying to get images of the KKK going. As time goes by, and the howls get louder for his head, Wilson will just fig in his heels, and he will get folks flocking to his side. If the Dems would simply shut their yap for 48 hours, they could probably salve enough egos to get that apology.
But hey, this is politics, and when did politicians EVER do the right thing for the right reasons.
