From Gallup. 20.1 percent of the state's population is uinsured, 14th highest rate in America.
And you still want to listen to the insurance companies' lies?
If you've got health insurance, you're paying higher premiums because of more than 20 percent of the state. They go to the ER, and if they can't pay the astronomical bills, insured folks get to swallow the costs.
It would seem to use that the folks crying most loudly are most uniformed, or have some ulterior motive for wanting 20 percent of the state's population to continue living without decent healthcare coverage. One of you argued on this page that health care isn't a right - we continue to say that healthcare is a responsibility, and we also don't think it's right for the rest of us to be paying for the 20 percent who don't have coverage, who continue to drive up the costs.
Now, reports say insurers have asked to once again increase rates to essentially a third of what you take home from work. That's what you want?
As it's looking now, Ryan may have a point about Romney and Massachusetts. Look over the research and tell us what you think.,br />
Uninsured: Highest Percentage in Texas, Lowest in Mass.
